BETTER TOGETHER

Small Groups allow us to connect with people with similar interests and walks of life, and at the same time, grow in our walk with Jesus. It’s a short-term commitment that will make a long-term impact on your spiritual growth.

Small Group Options

Below you will find the small group option as well as the description and time they meet. To register, please review and select an option on the form at the bottom of the page. Nursery, Master Clubs and Elevate will all coincide with Thursday Groups. 

*Child care if offered at some groups times and will be noted.

  • Mom’s Group: MoM'S MEET UP

    Frequency: One a Month             Category: Women


    Description: These meet ups are for moms and little ones to connect and have fun throughout the summer. These meet ups will be at various days of the week and various locations throughout North County. To be a part of the group, register today!

    Description: This is a Spanish speaking Bible study.

  • Through The Bible: Acts, (CHILD CARE AVAILABLE)

    Description: This lecture based group will be an in depth Bible study of the Book of Acts. This group is for anyone who wants to gain a deeper understanding of the first century church as we go through each chapter in Acts.

  • Adults 45+: Philippians, (CHILD CARE AVAILABLE)

    Description: In spite of his dire situation as a prisoner in a Roman jail, Paul’s letter to the church at Philippi overflows with joy. Discover Paul’s secret to finding joy in Christ in this verse by verse tour through the book of Philippians. Like Paul, regardless of your circumstances, your joy can be complete in Christ.

    Description: Ready to start taking control of your money? This group is for anyone who wants to learn how to budget, pay off debt, and save for the future. The average family that graduates FPU saves $2500 and pays off $5500 in debt.

  • Military Couples: The 5 love languages (CHILD CARE AVAILABLE)

    Frequency: Thursday, 7-8:15 P               Category: Couples


    Description: Strengthen your relationship by speaking the love language of your spouse. Special features specific for military couples: tips on how to express love when apart, FAQ’s specific for military couples, and loving during challenging times. As with all of our couples’ groups, spousal attendance is not required – deployments, training exercises and other work commitments are understood.

  • Couples: His Needs, her needs (CHILD CARE AVAILABLE)

    Description: Children add a unique strain on a couple’s time and relationship, yet they desperately need parents who love each other. That’s why one of the most important things parents can do for their kids is keep their marriage healthy. This study guides both new and seasoned parents through the why’s and how’s of sustaining romance in marriage.

Based on the book of Judges, this study encourages us to stand for what’s right, and step into what God is doing in our world.

  • Men: STEPPING UP, (CHILD CARE AVAILABLE)

    Description: Each of us face decisions and stages in life that demand courage. Big or little, complex or straightforward, these choices - let’s call them battles - matter a great deal. This study identifies five stages of a man’s journey through life: boyhood, adolescence, manhood, mentor, and patriarch and examines a man’s responsibilities at each step.

    Description: God gave us emotions to experience life, not destroy it! This study will help you know with confidence how to resolve conflict in your important relationships, find peace as you learn to be honest with yourself when offended, identify what type of reactor you are and how to significantly improve your communication, and much more! This is filled with biblical teaching that will inspire you to be the woman God desires you to be.

  • Men's Surfing

    Frequency: Every other Friday Morning        Category: Interest


    Description: This group is focused on building friendships through surfing! Prior to paddling out together we’ll discuss “Walking on Water,” which shares the spiritual journeys of several pro surfers. Whether you’ve surfed your whole life or have never surfed before, it will be enjoyable to surf as a group. Bring your own surfboard and wetsuit!

  • Men’s Golf Group

    Frequency: Every other Saturday Morning          Category: Interest


    Description: A community for guys who love to golf. Golfers of all skill levels are welcome. Everyone will be responsible to cover their golfing fees and bring their own equipment. Come enjoy fellowship and devotions while experiencing the outdoors.

    Description: Come learn about lasting love and discover what marriage looks like after the “honeymoon phase.” We’ll go through a chapter a week and discuss the principles of how we give and receive love. We’ll have a dedicated time of fellowship, discussion, and study each meeting as we apply what we learn into our daily lives over the next semester. Come join our group and learn what it means to love!

    Description: The path of least resistance rarely leads to the best outcome. Things that are valuable often require a price to be paid, and that’s what this study is about. Do Hard Things is filled with biblical teaching that will inspire you to be the indiviual God’s desires you to be.
