BETTER TOGETHER

Small Groups allow us to connect with people with similar interests and walks of life, and at the same time, grow in our walk with Jesus. It’s a short-term commitment that will make a long-term impact on your spiritual growth.

Small Group Options

Below you will find the small group option as well as the description and time they meet. To register, please review and select an option on the form at the bottom of the page. Nursery, Master Clubs and Elevate will all coincide with Thursday Groups. 

*Child care, if offered at some groups times, and will be noted.

  • Mom’s Group

    Frequency: Friday, 9:00-11:00 A            Category: Women


    Description:  Mothers have one of the most challenging and important jobs on earth. But it is a humble job. This group will be dedicated to helping mothers come together and connect as they study the biblical role of motherhood. There is a fee of $45 for childcare. $10 for each additional child for the whole class.

  • Spanish Speaking: Conexiones (child care available)

    Description: This is a Spanish speaking Bible study.

  • Through The Bible: PHILIPPIANS (CHILD CARE AVAILABLE)

    Frequency: Thursday, 7-8:15 P             Category: General


    Description: This lecture based group will be an in depth Bible study of the Book of Philippians. In spite of his dire situation as a prisoner in a Roman jail, Paul’s letter to the church at Philippi overflows with joy. This group is for anyone who wants to gain a deeper understanding of finding joy in Christ as we go through each chapter in Philippians.

  • Adults 45+: EPHESIANS (CHILD CARE AVAILABLE)

    Description:  In a society where wealth is often the measurement of success, Ephesians reveals the countercultural nature of the Gospel. The apostle Paul, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, opens our eyes to the riches we already have in Christ.

  • Military Couples: DATING YOUR SPOUSE (CHILD CARE AVAILABLE)

    Frequency: Thursday, 7-8:15 P               Category: Couples


    Description: Dating before marriage is fun and easy, but pursuing your spouse after marriage is just as important. It requires an intentional effort. This group will dive into scripture to understand what it means to have a relationship that satisfies the deepest parts of our souls. As with all of our couples’ groups, spousal attendance is not required – deployments, training exercises and other work commitments are understood.

  • Couples: EVERYTHING YOU NEED (CHILD CARE AVAILABLE)

    Description: When we grab hold of a truth from God’s Word and apply it to the very situations in which we live, we can experience its transforming power on a personal level. In this group, we’ll study eleven of the most familiar passages from God’s Word and discover the life-changing power of these transforming truths.

    Description: Build your marriage on a solid foundation. From communication to money to intimacy, this group deals with all the major issues a couple will encounter. We’ll discuss practical real-life challenges and offer easy to understand solutions even if you are the only one willing to work on the relationship.

  • Men: STUDY OF EPHESIANS (CHILD CARE AVAILABLE)

    Description: Going through the book of Ephesians, this group will cover sound foundational theology, husband and wife basics, and spiritual warfare. Other topics will include “How to have a quiet time with God” and “How to study God’s Word.” This group is designed for men to come together and connect of fellowship and community while discussing the biblical role of manhood.

    Description: The support and encouragement of a small circle of friends can nurture a woman in a unique way. This group can provide acceptance, affirmation, and accountability to those involved – and they are founded on the principles of the Bible! This course will hear from various different women as they share their different experiences and insights of how God has been at work in their life.

  • GAME NIGHT

    Description: This group is focused on building friendships through games! Play some of your old favorites and have a blast learning how to play new ones. This group is for all ages who want have a great time during game night!

  • CO-ED Softball

    Frequency: Begins Feb 21          Category: General


    Description: Looking for an opportunity to play ball this year? Softball is a great opportunity for fellowship and recreation. This team will compete in the league operated by the city of Oceanside. Registration fees will be paid directly to the league office. This team will represent Coastline and Christ in city league play!

    Description: Most people get married with the assumption that marriage itself is a destination. But along the way, you discover that, as wonderful as marriage may be, it’s more of a journey than a destination. Rather than an island of unending bliss, it’s more like a long road trip. While managing kids, careers, and life – this group will discover key principles from Scripture that will make marriage the incredible journey God intended to be.

  • Young Adults: Lunch meet up

    Description: This group is for young adults who would like to meet up for lunch after church. The group will meet monthly at an announced location. Strengthen old friendships and have fun making new ones! Each person will be responsible for the cost of their own meal.

  • College and Career adults 18-30: BE ALIVE

    Frequency: Friday, 7-9:30 P                                                    Category: Single Adults


    Description: No other Gospel gives such extensive explanation to Jesus’ ministry as the Gospel of John. Through miracles, parables, and relationships, Jesus shows how He is the fulfillment of God’s promises. He is the Word, the Light, the Lamb—the eternal Son of God. Get to know Jesus and His Word better, as well as, other young adults. Meal served each week as well.

  • Men’s Breakfast with pastor

    Frequency: Every other Friday, 7 A                                                             Category: Men


    Description: When a man follows the principles of biblical manhood, those around him benefit from his leadership and care. This group is for men who would like to spend time fellowshipping with their Pastor and other men in the church. Come enjoy coffee, conversation, and a leadership devotional thought with Pastor Steve.

  • MEN’S FITNESS GROUP

    Frequency: Monday-Thursday                                                             Category: Men


    Description: Achieve your fitness goals in the new year! God has only given you one body, and it’s in our best interest to be good stewards of it. This group will be for men who are looking to become stronger and leaner. Jonathan Telles will be coordinating this group, but a local, certified trainer will be creating and leading the workouts at a local gym. Course includes a $150 fee that will be paid directly to the trainer. Body composition analysis will be taken weekly, and tracked over of the 6 weeks. (M-W 6pm, Thur 6am)
